What is the welding repair of Marine heat exchangers?
When some positions of Marine heat exchangers malfunction, they need to be welded for repair. How can we complete this task?
1. Before welding, clean the maintenance area of the Marine heat exchanger thoroughly. The welding surface can be brushed with chlorate brazing flux.
2. The silver-based electrodes used for welding should have a silver content of at least 45%, and the welding temperature should not exceed 650℃ to avoid affecting the welding strength.
3. Before welding, place the Marine heat exchanger flat, fill the equipment with water, and wrap the area around the welding zone with a damp cloth to prevent the high temperature generated during welding from conducting to the nearby area and melting other parts or affecting the welding strength.
4. The continuous welding time should be controlled not to be too long to reduce the excessive influence of heat.
